Thanet Roadrunners AC participate in the Kent Fitness League. There are 7 races which run between October to February on Sunday mornings. TRAC generally host one of the races in January at Minnis Bay. The club pays the entrance fee for all club members. All of the races are slightly different and may include grass, woodlands, hills and water at a 8-9k average race distance.
TRAC participate in the East Kent Relay Series. These road relays are held between May and July on Tuesday evenings. This is a team event within your age groups competing against other clubs around East Kent. TRAC hosts its relay at Minnis Bay on the sea front. The Kent Grand Prix is made up of 10 races of varying lengths which covers the Kent area. Individuals are scored on their position within the race and are also combined for the clubs points. The club uses these races and might add a couple which will make up the Club Championships. Awards are given at our prize giving in the early year with awards are presented at our annual presentation evening held early in the following new year. The races that form the club championship will be published on the website at the start of each year.
