SENIOR TRAINING

Where & When

Thanet Roadrunners has a number of formal training sessions each week. Whether it’s distance, speed or hills we’ll make sure you get through each session in one piece!

Come along and see what you think, the first two sessions are FREE, and then we ask you to sign up for membership and continue to enjoy the free training!

All of our enthusiastic and friendly run leaders are England Athletics qualified and fully DBS checked.  Whatever your ability level, they will help you reach whatever goals you have.

If you’re new ask to speak to one of the run leaders so that they can make sure you get into the right group and help you with your first of many training runs.  We organise training runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.  All details of when, where, how far etc are on the “RunTogether Runner” app – details below.   NB All runs listed below are for members aged 18+.

Although we always try to run our training sessions at the advertised times, these sometimes have to be changed at short notice.

The best way to keep up to date and book yourself on one of our club sessions is to use the “RunTogether Runner” app which is available for free on the Apple and Google play stores. Once you have downloaded the app, search for Thanet Roadrunners, and you will see the sessions you can book onto and keep up to date with any changes.

Booking onto the app also provides run leaders with your emergency contact details, should the need ever arise, and lets them know who is expected to join the run. If you book on a run but then can’t make it, it would be appreciated if you cancel on the app.
