So much enjoyed being part of the early days of Thanet Roadrunners and couldn’t believe it when I came across an old photo album.

Then the photo of me as I finish the first ever Thanet Half Marathon.
Looks like the club has continued to grow and so pleased for you
From Steve: the guys at the back from left to right are Mike Barnes,Paul Scales and Ron Smith. Mike Barnes was the original club coach mainly because at the inaugural club meeting he was the only sub 3 hour marathon runner at that time! He is a life member I believe but has had no contact with the club for decades. Paul Scales was a sub 3 hour marathon runner and now lives in South Africa.
