Thursday 14th May 2026 saw a number of TRACies (juniors and adults) turn up to compete at the Julie Rose Stadium in Ashford.
What a great venue and a thoroughly enjoyable evening!
The discus, hammer, long jump etc were all going on, but we were there for the running…
Our juniors, Iris Hooper, Maisie Kemp, Pearl Dunbar-Brunton and Joshua Eve put in some superb performances in the 800m.
For the adults. Ben Dunbar- Brunton and Stuart Eve took on the mile, while Matt finch took on the 3000m.
It was a really friendly atmosphere with runners of all abilities taking part.
There are other track meets at other venues too (including Canterbury). Keep an eye on the club website/social for more info… future Ashford sessions are on Entry 4 Sports
