Tuesday night saw us hosting our relay on Minnis Bay sea front. After a miserable day the sun appeared in the evening and the wind was there as always.
Being a home leg we had 14 teams to represent TRAC.
The course takes us out to Grenham bay up the windy slope, along the top to Beresford Gap. It is a steep downhill and then left back towards Minnis bay. This year the wind was in our face the whole way back which made it challenging to pace the 2.3 miles.
Many thanks to our race director Chris Brown and to Anna for organising all of the marshals for the event. Thank you to all of our marshals, your cheering and enthusiasm really helped us along the way.
Before the start of the race a minutes applause and condolences were given to Ashford and District RRC in memory of John Fidge their president.
