Race report by Andy Jones:

Race date May 16th
It’s a big old lump of an event that becomes more of a journey than a race as you make your way round. It’s low on runnability, high on elavation and technicality.
I treated each aid station as the end of one run and the beginning of the next. Breaking the race down into bite sized challenges of climb and decent over rock and slate and then over more rock. Taking in two sunsets and two sunrises whilst doing so (stunning).

The goal was always simply to finish, although I tried to set an average pace that would see me in around 40/42hrs. I maintained that pace for ages but somehow let it slip towards the end.
It didn’t matter, I got my 100 mile finish to add to my 50k and 100k finishes from previous years .
After four consecutive years of running UTS it’s time to give Llanberis a rest.
It’s been a blast.

With over 10,000 meters of elevation this incredible achievement is difficult to comprehend . Congratulations Andy!
